SoftSwiss Year in Review 2017

The year behind us, 2017, has been a landmark one for the SoftSwiss team. Waving goodbye to yet another successful business year, we want to take a moment to look back at the major milestones achieved by SoftSwiss in 2017.

SOFTSWISS Gaming Platform – Launch Pad for 25 New Casinos

The passing year has seen the launch of 25 new casinos on the SoftSwiss casino management platform. It was a year for exciting ventures with new clients, but also a year for new projects with well-established operators. Most exceptional is the foray into regulated markets, which SoftSwiss boasts two of with the launch of respective casinos for the Estonian and Belgian markets.

Here Comes Malta!

The Maltese licence was practically synonymous with growth and the SoftSwiss platform was beyond ready to advance to the next level. In November the company became a proud holder of a Class 1 on 4 license, which now allows us to offer Malta licensed White Labels under the aegis of the MGA.

Product Features for All

A plethora of neat features was added to the SoftSwiss casino platform last year.

Our already potent Bonus System just keeps getting better. For example, operators can now hard-limit the Max Bet for games played with active bonuses, while players can choose from several bonus offers (if available) and pick the one that works best for their game style.

While some were busy building walls, we tried to break the wall between players and casino websites – plenty of new bells and whistles have been added to our frontend core. For instance, Real-Time Notifications in user accounts allow operators to better communicate with and retain players.

We also doubled down on user security by introducing optional Two-Factor Authentication and Captcha for players. Besides that, players received the ability to track their user sessions from various devices and browsers, which gives an added edge in data protection.

Affiliates working with casinos on the SoftSwiss platform can look forward to a sweet announcement in Q1 of 2018 regarding the affiliate module, which is being revamped and relaunched as a standalone product.

Content Deals and New Partners

We are now partnered with 24 game providers. Over 600 new game titles were added to our already extensive game library last year – quite a staggering number!

In 2017 we started to supply games from Play’n GO, Yggdrasil, EGT, Spinomenal and NYX, a game hub housing such brand names as NextGen, Amaya, Thunderkick, Ainsworth and ELK. Another great milestone was the introduction land-based slot supplier Belatra to the online arena, where SoftSwiss acted as Belatra’s exclusive online partner and technical advisor.

Meanwhile, all the games can be extended to both SoftSwiss platform operators and through the SoftSwiss Game Aggregator API. This API grants any licensed gaming website the ability to market thousands of games, all through a single integration.

The Pillars of SOFTSWISS

With the ever-growing workload and constant need to meet the rising demand for our products and services, the SoftSwiss team has grown from 64 to 102 employees over the course of the year. The company experienced growth across all departments with a focus on creating all-star teams for each aspect of the business.

We take this opportunity to wish you an auspicious New Year and guarantee that in 2018 we will once again award you with top-notch service, groundbreaking products and nifty features. As always, stay tuned for more!
